    Broad Objective:

    • Improving the rights and respecting the dignity of individuals living with dementia through focusing
      • on existing advance declarations of will and
      • on good practices in the competence assessment in dementia
    • involving a large group of EU countries and experts

    1. Advance declarations of will
      • Overview of existing ADWs in European Member States
      • Analysis of ADWs
      • Assessment of practice and use of ADWs
      • Identification of best practices: legal framework, content and promotion of use
    2. Competence assessment of people with dementia
      • Overview of good practices that help to assess competence in European member States.
